Spring Break

A few days away during the first week of the school holidays. We took the motor home up the coast. This is Opoutama near Mahia. With a water temperature of about 13 degrees centigrade and a maybe slightly warmer air temperature, only one of us was tempted by the water.
On top of Mokotahi Hill, Mahia Beach.

July

On the way back home after 14 weeks in England.
Johor Bahru. Just across the causeway in Malaysia.

My accommodation for two nights. This is level 8, I was on level 15 of the left-hand block, facing away from the pool.

June 25

Okay, so it may be a day late. School holidays again and with Martin still in England, Amy and Donna are spending a few days in the capital. Looks like a (not so) healthy breakfast.

Meanwhile in Chesterfield. Cooling off on a hot day when it's just too far to the pond.

Lunch stop with John Hart, and Ashover Rock, or The Fabrick

Finally a photo where she's smiling for the camera. Official school photo so she had to! The only one, so some photos of us in the school holidays.

March 2025

We have a teenager in the family! Here she is having a birthday takeaway with friend Eva, and not wanting her photos taken. Likewise below, cutting her cake!

Now some people who are happy to have their photo taken! With Jonquil and Mel (our other February visitors) up Te Mata peak.

And our regular visitor John from Bolsover, at Hygge cafe in Clifton, about 20km from here.
