Feb 2025

Amy seems to have been conspicuously absent from in front of the camera this month, so by way of a change, here are two of our three lots of UK visitors this month. Old hash friends from Brighton, or rather Shoreham by Sea, Gaby and John; below, Gail and Nick from Milton Keynes.

Out and about on our travels. At Nirvana Farm Stay near the Mohaka River, just off the Napier Taupo road.

Wakaipo Bay, Lake Taupo.

Perfect day at Ocean Beach, and celebrating 25 years since the day we met.

Okay, so Donna and Amy have been back since September and Martin since October, but we've all been busy with one thing or another, so here are some shots from Saturday just gone in Napier.

Singapore and Malaysia Re-visited

The Rain Vortex at Singapore Changi Airport. The world's largest indoor waterfall. Donna and Amy stopped off in Singapore then hopped over to Malaysia for two weeks on the way back to NZ in late August and early September for a relaxing break before getting back to school and work.

Malaysian street food. Murtabak, a kind of stuffed pancake with spicy sauces.
On the running track on level 4 (or 3a if you're Chinese) of the apartment complex in Johor Bahru. Below is a shopping mall and above, the apartments.
Nightswimming.
Johor Bahru (JB) City Square.
R&R at the R&F. Opera house with the apartments behind.

City Square again

London

Amy's first sightseeing trip to London. Lots of walking around the sights, starting at Tower Bridge

The view from Greenwich Observatory has changed a bit since I was last here.
East meets west.

Hyde Park
Watching the world go by in Covent Garden.

Leicester Square with Paddington Bear

I think the King was in Balmoral, so we didn't go in.

We didn't go into St Paul's Either.
Or the Tower.

Just for a change, a video. At John Hart's house last month.
