Hawke's Bay Marathon

Well there was a marathon, and a half, but the girls did the 10km. Ready for the 7.30 am start, with Casey and Agnes.

The finish at Elephant Hill Winery. Amy's accredited time was just under the hour, despie what the clock says. It took her over six minutes to cross the start line. - It's a big event!

John, Gracie, Amy, Charlie, John, Sonia and Donna. The girls were in the same yea one class. Now Charlie lives in Auckland and Gracie in Tauranga, but happened to be back in town at the same time.

14 years old. How did that happen?

Ocean beach north end near Cape Kidnappers. We cycled about 15 km return, just to see how far we could get, but it was harder work than we imagined.
