 We did this walk two days ago. 70 minutes drive, then just over an hours walk up the hill and there's this much snow.

 Sunrise hut 1280 metres up in the Ruahines. Two hours walk from the car. 21 degrees forecast for home today!

Taupo Weekend

 School holidays so we spent a weekend in Taupo. Kelvyn and Cushla booked a bach by the lake, and John, Sonya and Charlie came down from Auckland. We also borrowed Carys (left) for the weekend! Friday dinner with Charlie and Olive.
